SAŽETAK

Prisustvo stranog telo u disajnim putevima je akutno stanje u medicini. Uprkos savremenim dijagnostičkim pro­cedurama ono često ostaje neprepoznato. U ovom radu je prikazan slučaj bolesnice stare 69 godina koja je aspirirala strano telo (kost), u disajne puteve. Zbog nekarakterističnih simptoma ostalo je neprepoznato. Dva meseca nakon aspiracije zbog tegoba u vidu dispneje i kašlja upućena je na bolničko lečenje sa uputnom dijag­nozom astme. Dijagnostičkim procedurama dokazano je prisustvo stranog tela u levom principalnom bronhu. Nakon odstranjenja stranog tela, otpuštena je u dobrom opštem stanju, bez respiratornih tegoba.

SUMMARY

The presence of a foreign body in the airways is regarded an acute condition in medicine. Although there are advanced diagnostic procedures available, this problem often remains unrecognized. This is a case report of a 69-year old female patient who aspirated a foreign body- a bone. As she developed no specific symptoms, this condition remained unrecognized. Two months later, presented by the symptoms of dyspnea and cough, she was admitted to hospital with asthma for her admission diagnosis. The applied screening diagnostic pro­cedures confirmed a foreign body inhabiting the left principal bronchus. Having the foreign body removed, the patient was discharged in the good general health condition and no respiratory symptoms.
